The Springfield Community Children's Chorus is made up of children in grades three through eight who love to sing.  SCCC provides a quality vocal experience for children while allowing them to be kids and have fun. The choir develops proper vocal technique for the unchanged voice, promotes ear training and  teaches elementary music reading skills through weekly choir rehearsals.

Each year our members look forward to concerts in the community, a sleepover, pizza parties and more. In the spring we’ll participate in the Festival of Music choral competition at Hershey Park. SCCC has scored  ratings of excellent and superior and has been honored each year with first place in our division!

This year seven of our  singers were selected through audition to  participate in the American Choral Directors Eastern Honor Choirs. Children from across the northeast were chosen through a rigorous audition process.  The honor choirs met in Boston where the children performed for over 3,000 choir directors, family members, and friends. Next year members of SCCC will audition for the National Honor Choirs to be held in Minneapolis! Good luck singers!

SCCC is a not for profit, 501(c)3 organization. Children wishing to schedule a friendly audition may call 973-912-9925 or email SpringfieldKidsSing@gmail.com
